About Us
About The Teen Expo
The Teen Expo was founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 2021, inspired by conversations among community members who wanted to create meaningful and lasting opportunities for teens.
We are an active response to the limited access to training and opportunities in many communities across the United States. Our approach is to reduce barriers that limit success and help teens overcome the obstacles that can hold back generations.
Our children are our future, and we are committed to being the change we want to see in the world. We do this by recognizing community needs and creating life-changing mentorship opportunities that connect teens with leaders, innovators, business owners, and organizations from across the nation.
Experience yields opportunity. Our program helps teens build skills, expand their horizons, and set the foundation for long-term success.
Our online database connects teenagers to opportunities for mentorship, personal and professional development, leadership programs, career training, camps, and both paid and volunteer experiences in their areas of interest. Even if teens don’t yet know what they want to be, our program helps them explore options, gain real-world experience, and strengthen essential networking and communication skills.”
Our Mission
Our mission is to prepare the next generation of talent by expanding access to opportunities and giving young people a competitive advantage in today’s job market. We do this through camps, seminars, and programs focused on skills training, transitional employment, opportunity placement, mentorship, and career-specific education.
Our Vision
Our vision is for every teen to have the opportunity to strengthen their work ethic, build social and professional skills, and create meaningful connections that lead to success in today’s competitive job market.
